👋 Introduce Yourself! We’d love to know a little about you. When you introduce yourself, share as much as you’d like about: 1. Where you are on the journey → Are you dreaming, actively planning, or already living abroad? 2. Where you’re moving (or have moved) to → Portugal, France, Thailand, Mexico, Spain, or elsewhere? 3. Your biggest motivation → What made you decide to leave the U.S. (safety, politics, cost of living, lifestyle, adventure)? 4. Your biggest question or challenge right now → Visas, housing, work, community, culture shock? 5. A fun fact about you → Something light — your favorite food, hobby, or dream activity abroad.

You Really Can Escape the Madness
There have always been great reasons to live abroad like generally being safer, universal health insurance, universal education that makes it very very affordable to go to university and even medical or dental school, better laws to protect people from dangerous chemicals in their food... Now, it really might be to simply escape the madness. Do I need to explain that part? Unfortunately, a lot of folks don't even realize they have another choice and that it is possible to live abroad - either permanently or just for awhile until things are returned to "normal", whatever that is. I'm happy to help you weigh your options and to make an escape right away.

You Really Can Escape the Madness
Don't Let Money Hold You Back
I have been helping people move abroad for nearly 25 years. In my experience, a lot of folks don't even allow themselves to dream of moving abroad because they don't have big savings (any savings?) and they have no idea how they would support themselves if they move abroad. I remember shortly after I became a medical doctor, I wanted to move to France, but I could not figure out how to earn an income at first. I didn't know then what I know now. I decided to create a course to help others find a way to support themselves from anywhere in the world. The course is currently in beta mode, which means it is time to share it with a few others and get feedback so that I can continue to make it better. Ultimately, I will probably sell it or build a program around it. For now, I just ask for honest feedback in exchange for access.

💬 Day 1: What's Your #1 Reason for Leaving?
Drop a comment below with your #1 reason for wanting to leave the US. Keep it short—just 1-2 sentences. Here's mine to get us started: "I was tired of being shamed if I took the few days of paid time off that I earned. I also wanted to live where there is universal health insurance and universal affordable or free education. I love living where I don't have to worry about gun violence. My list could fill pages!" Your turn. And after you post, read through what others have shared. You'll find your people here. — Liesa Harte
