Welcome to the Russian language learning community on Skool!
My name is Yiorgos Christakis and I started learning Russian in 2017 after meeting my wife—her family spoke no English, so I wanted to communicate with them. But I quickly fell in love with the language, and it became a passion of mine.
I taught myself to fluency independently and developed a long list of strategies to keep improving without forcing the process. Now, I want to share what I’ve learned and help others do the same.
This community is for independent learners looking to improve across all skills, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. You’ll find a wealth of resources, and many non-obvious tips I’ve picked up along the way.
