We believe that life is not about building our own kingdoms, chasing comfort, or securing the American dream.
Those things promise much but leave us empty, restless, and enslaved to stress and striving.
We believe Jesus calls us to something far greater—a cruciform life. To take up our cross, die to self, and follow Him. To reject the idols of comfort, wealth, and acclaim, and instead pursue faithfulness, obedience, and eternal fruit.
A cruciform life reshapes everything about our lives.
We don't do this alone. We are brothers. Just as four men carried their paralyzed friend to Jesus, we too are Mat Carriers, refusing to leave one another behind, committed to dragging each other to the feet of Christ when we are too weak to go alone.
We call ourselves The League because we are bound together by covenant and calling, not by convenience. Men determined to live cruciform lives and leave gospel legacies that reach into eternity.
This is our counter-cultural resistance.
