This week I facilitated a session on work boundaries for a team of veteran educators. 🍎 So much wisdom in the room and they definitely kept me on my toes. 😅 The boundary strategy I enjoyed sharing with them most was "Positive No." “A ‘No’ uttered from deepest conviction is better and greater than a ‘Yes’ merely uttered to please, or what is worse, to avoid trouble.” — Mahatma Gandhi In other words, what do you need to say no to, so you can say yes to what you really need/want? For example, I would have loved another chill day at home, which I said no to, so I could say yes to experiencing a new-to-me Bay Area trail that led to the the view below. 😍 Totally worth it!
