Activity Idea - Game: Bubble Talk
Have you ever played bubble talk? This is one of those activities that are simple but fun - Recommended to me by me as a mentor this is not only something I use with my residents, but also at home with my family and kids. Using the Bubble Talk game, you can create conversation, laughter, and participation without a lot of prep. To play a picture is presented to a group, and the players choose a card in their hands to caption the image, and the judge of the round chooses their favorite caption. Activity Idea - Game: Bubble Talk
Live Planning Sessions?!?
I'm considering hosting live virtual planning sessions for a month of planning together, or a monthly/ bi weekly presentation of activity ideas I research for a specific theme or month and present in a video. Would this be helpful to you, and if so what "themes" or activity ideas do you want preferred? Would you rather have it pre researched or a collaborative effort? Maybe even a combo of the two? Let me know what you think! Also how far ahead would you prefer the sessions be, such as in April do you want to plan the month of May together, June or some other theme? Excited to hear your feedback! Laura

Help!
I am in the process of adding additional resources to the "classroom" - I need to know if the protocols are helpful, if they need to be adjusted or if you PREFER to have the activity ready to print with no protocol and decide how to run the activity yourself?

Introduction
Hello! My name is Jennifer Sorenson and I am the Day Support Activity Director for a non-profit that serves adults with intellectual disabilities. I retired last June from public education where I served as a behavior specialist for 10 years. Prior to that I was a classroom teacher for 22 years. I joined this group as I am new in this field and have been desperately searching for resources to keep things fresh. I am so excited to be here and look forward to connecting with everyone.
