Luciérnagas
Luciérnagas means “fireflies” or “lightning bugs”
It’s the plural form of “luciérnaga.”
- Singular: la luciérnaga → the firefly
- Plural: las luciérnagas → the fireflies
- Anoche vi muchas luciérnagas en el jardín. → “Last night I saw many fireflies in the garden.”
- Las luciérnagas iluminan el bosque como pequeñas estrellas. → “The fireflies light up the forest like little stars.”
