Interview Mistakes That Could Cost You the Job
👉Not Researching the Company Learn about the company, their services, and the role before the interview. Preparation shows genuine interest. This also help you come up with questions during the interview. 😉 👉Not Understanding the Position Know the job description and be ready to explain how your experience aligns with the role. You've got multiple resumes, be sure you're looking at the one you used to apply for this specific role! 👉Not Selling Yourself Be confident in your strengths, accomplishments, and what makes you stand out. Confidence shows in eye contact! 👉Not Asking Questions Prepare a few thoughtful questions. Interviews should be a two-way conversation. *Hint: I almost always ask about the culture and/or growth potential. 👉Dressing Too Casually First impressions really do matter! Dress professionally and present yourself confidently.
