There’s something about slowing down and spending time on the farm that fills my soul in a way nothing else can.
This summer has been full of simple moments with my dad, who’s getting older, and time spent with Kord and the girls. No big agenda. Just conversations, laughter, hard work, fresh air, and being present with the people who matter most.
It’s easy to get caught up in doing, producing, and checking things off the list. But I’m reminded again and again that some of the most important moments in life aren’t the ones we plan... they’re the ones we make room for.
Sometimes the greatest gift we can give ourselves is permission to step away for a little while. To breathe. To reconnect. To remember what really matters.
What’s something that refreshes your soul and helps you step away from the busyness of life? I'd love to hear what fills your cup.
