In Our Own Words: Māori is a community for people who want to bring te reo Māori into everyday life at home, in ways that feel natural, safe, and real.
This is not about perfection or fluency. It’s about voice, belonging, and finding your own words.
At the heart of the community is Kapa Kōrero | Cup of Tea, a relaxed weekly get-together with no formal agenda. We check in, share ideas, and gently practise bringing te reo Māori into home life, at our own pace.
Alongside this sits Kōrero with Confidence - Classroom, a guided learning space with practical language support, routines, and resources you can take straight back into everyday use.
