Sometimes you have to Let’em Know!
#Day6 #KingdomLab
I posted twice on this day and I wanted to use it because the message is important and has stayed with me past the words of the song.
Here’s my disclaimer: I don’t listen to vulgar music, I don’t subscribe to trappin’(selling drugs), or any derogatory suggestive activity.
That aside I DO subscribe to not letting people play in your face like you’re not the truth. I do subscribe to reminding people why. Some months back people who more than likely didn’t know about T.I. in his prime or his accomplishments attempted to clown him for aging😑(balding) at an age many people in the lifestyle he comes from rarely see. They showed no respect to an educated, accomplished Atlanta legend.
This struck a nerve with me because I see this far too often. We will dishonor our best for a hehe and a chuckle. Even in the Body of Christ we can sometimes try to play the legends. For a myriad of reasons, none that are acceptable, we forget and discount the deposits
of those that came before us.
We could not get this far without the generals, elders, legends. We stand on their shoulders! When did we get so comfortable disrespecting them? When did
We lose courage to not address it and let it slide?
Please Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
