Let’s talk real for a second. 🧡
Sometimes we say,
“My cup is empty.”
“I’m exhausted.”
“I have nothing left to give.”
But here’s the truth God’s been reminding me of:
If God is in your cup it’s never truly empty.
And if He isn’t in it… you can have money, routines, vacations, behavior charts, the perfect house, the perfect schedule….. and your cup will still run dry.
Because fullness doesn’t come from what you do… it comes from Who you’re rooted in.
You can be the Pinterest parent…
The gentle parent…
The fun parent…
The scheduled parent…
…but if you’re parenting without God, the foundation won’t hold.
And on the flip side
You can feel tired.
Overwhelmed.
Unsure.
Still figuring it out…
…but if God is at the center, you are never pouring alone.
So before you compare your parenting to someone else’s highlight reel
Look at your cup.
Is it filled with:
• Busyness?
• Performance?
• Pressure?
• Perfection?
• Or Him?
Because growth doesn’t start in imitation. Growth starts in His Word.
If God isn’t the FIRST thing in your cup…
Then the truth is, your cup will always be missing what matters most.
So today I lovingly say
Come back to the Source.
Drink from the well that never runs dry.
Parent with Him… not beside Him.
Because with God in your cup
You may feel weak…
But you will never be empty. 🧡
