(Daily devotional from MASTER SPEAK THY SERVANT HEARS by AL ADELUWOYE). “He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” (Psalm 112:7) NKJV My child, when you have complete trust in Me, you will become immune to bad news, because your faith will keep you grounded. It’s about having confidence in My goodness and mercy, no matter what life brings. Develop a steadfast heart by continually cultivating a close relationship with Me through prayers, scriptures, and worship. Your trust in Me grows as you reflect on My faithfulness in the past. Think about times when you’ve faced challenges, but I carried you through. Remembering those moments can help ameliorate your fears about the future. Better days are coming. Fear is a human response, but don’t let fear control you. When you face bad news, you can bring your fears to Me in prayers. Peace be with you. But peace begins when you keep your focus on Me and trust Me completely. It’s not about getting rid of every anxious thought but about turning your attention back to Me whenever distractions come. You often focus on trying to fix things yourself or worrying about what might go wrong. Trusting Me doesn’t mean ignoring your problems—it means giving them to Me. A steadfast mind doesn’t have to be perfect; it just needs to refocus on Me instead of focusing on your problems. When you trust Me fully, I will give you perfect peace—not because everything changes right away, but because the way you see things will change. Peace be with you. Let Me align your words and thoughts with My will. It’s not about being perfect in your utterances but about inviting Me to transform you from the inside out so that your utterances will be laced with divine authority from Me. Your thoughts and meditation are just as important as what you say or do. When I guide your heart and mind, it helps you to adjust your utterances. Bring those thoughts to Me, so I can renew your mind and bless your utterances with things that bring Me honor. I am your Rock and Redeemer. Trust Me to work in your heart and mind. It’s not about ignoring your concerns but about surrendering control to Me. Sometimes trust means stepping forward in faith, even without all the answers. When you submit to Me—acknowledging Me in all your ways—I will make your paths straight. It’s not about never making mistakes but about trusting Me to guide you back on course when you make mistakes. Trust doesn’t mean you’ll always feel certain, but it does mean you can rest in knowing I am with you. Remember that I am faithful to guide you, even when the path feels unclear. Peace be with you.
