From Struggling to Selling: What Finally Worked for My Ecom Business
At first, I blamed the platform. Then the products. Then the ad algorithm.
But deep down, I knew the issue wasn’t external — it was me. I was guessing. Copying. Hoping.
I didn’t understand why something was supposed to work — I was just doing what I saw others do without context or strategy.
So I took a step back.
Here’s what changed everything:
Instead of randomly choosing products, I started researching actual problems people wanted solved.
I looked at reviews, forums, Reddit threads — trying to understand customer pain points.
From there, I built offers, not just listings. I stopped jumping from niche to niche.
Picked one product category, one audience, and one strategy — and went all in on understanding how to serve that group better. I joined groups like this one on Skool, consumed better content, and started asking questions.
Not just about tactics, but about fundamentals — value creation, positioning, buyer psychology.
Instead of calling it failure, I looked for patterns:
– Was the offer weak?
– Were the product images low quality?
– Was I speaking to the wrong audience?
Every time I adjusted, I improved. now
✅ I’m finally getting consistent sales
✅ Customers are reaching out with good feedback
✅ I actually feel like I’m building something long-term — not just chasing trends
This journey wasn’t overnight, and honestly, it shouldn’t be.
If I had gotten instant success, I wouldn’t have learned half of what I know now.
To anyone just starting out or stuck in that no-sales phase:
Don’t quit. Slow down, zoom out, and go back to the fundamentals.
Success in this space isn’t about luck — it’s about persistence, feedback, and constant refinement.
Grateful to be in this Skool community — a place where real growth happens.
Let’s keep building.
