Welcome — you're in the right place 🤍
Welcome—you're in the right place. 🤍 The most important thing first: this is a menu, not a checklist. You will never be behind here. Take what serves your family today and leave the rest. That's not falling short — that's using this exactly the way it's meant to be used. Here's how everything works: 🧭 Start with "The Kids Love Way." It's the short foundation course in the Classroom tab. It explains the three simple parts of Kids Love: the 8 Wonder domains (your child's learning), the PERSON practice (support for you), and The Shelf (your home as a calm learning space). Go at your own speed — there's no timer. 📚 Your curriculum arrives one week at a time. Volume 1 is your first full curriculum. You'll get Week 1 the day you join, and a new week every 7 days after that. This is on purpose: one week at a time means you're never handed more than you can hold. You set the pace within each week — nothing is ever lost or missed if you go slower. 🔓 The Reading Path and Numbers Path unlock at Day 30. These are your reading and math ladders. They open a month after you join — once your rhythm is settled — so they land when you're ready for them, not on day one. When they open, every stage is available at once, at your child's pace. 🗓️ Each month has a theme and one live call. You'll find the date on the Calendar tab. Come if you can; it's always recorded if you can't. 💬 Your first step: say hello. Head to the "Introduce Yourself" post (pinned just below this one) and tell us a little about your family. That's the only "task." We'd love to meet you. 🌱 A note for our founding families: You're the very first through these doors, and that makes your voice matter enormously. This community is brand new—carefully built, but not yet worn-in by a hundred real homes. So if anything is confusing, missing, or could be clearer, please tell me (post in Ask Sahar, or reply to my welcome message). Nothing you notice is too small. I'm so glad you're here. Warmly, Sahar

👋 Introduce yourself — we'd love to meet you
This is our front porch. Whenever you join, come say hello here. In a comment below, share three things: 1. Your name 2. Your child's age (or ages) 3. One thing you're hoping for this year. Three lines is plenty — and more is welcome if you feel like it. And if you're reading other people's hellos — a warm welcome in reply is always kind. This is a place where we're glad to see each other. I'll go first (see my comment below). 🤍 Warmly, Sahar Miller

For the hard days
Some days none of it happens. The baby's up all night, the toddler melts down at breakfast, and the last thing you have in you is a gentle eight-beat rhythm. This post is here on purpose, with no shame in it anywhere. Drop all of it except one thing. The rhythm, the menu, the plan — let it go for today. Nothing breaks if you skip a day, or a week, or three. Keep one beat. Just one. Read a single story somewhere cozy. Or do only Today's Wonder and call it done. Or honestly — pour a snack, sit on the floor, and be near each other. Connection alone is a complete day. You didn't fail. You chose presence over performance, which was always the point. Let Wonder Returns catch the rest. That's what the light fifth day is for. Whatever fell apart this week, it absorbs — a soft day to circle back and let your child lead. Nothing piles up against you. It just waits for a day with more room in it. And one thing to hold on the worst days. Mistakes aren't failures here. They're part of the work, for your child and for you. This is a practice, not a performance. There'll be days that flow and days that fall apart, and both count. You're doing better than you think. Close the laptop. Hold your kid. Try again tomorrow. Easy days and hard days both belong here. If today was a hard one, say so below.

What counts as a win here
Here's my win today: My three-year-old spent eleven minutes washing the same cup! Not learning to wash cups. Washing one cup, over and over, completely absorbed, while I stood there with my hands itching to say something helpful and didn't. That was the whole morning. And it was enough. I'm posting this first so you know what counts here. Not milestones. Not a photo of a beautiful shelf. The morning that fell apart by nine and you stayed kind anyway — that's a win. Your kid choosing the same puzzle for the fourth day — that's a win Skipping the whole thing and reading one book on the couch instead — that's a win. Noticing you were about to say "good job" and saying what you saw instead — a win. Most of us are terrible at counting these. We notice what didn't happen and skip past what did. This room is for practicing the other way around — for yourself, out loud, with your kid, and with everyone here. So: what happened at your house today? Whatever shape it came in.
