Army leadership code LEADERS
The Army leadership code has 7 leadership behaviours in the acronym LEADERS
L-Lead my example
You cannot lead people beyond where you are willing to go yourself. You must be consistent and you will be seen as a leader who ‘walks the walk’ and ‘talks the talk’. It is a bit of a red flag to me when someone is their own boss and their reason is that they could never be told what to do. An important part of leadership is followership and the ability to follow as well as lead. What are people’s thoughts?
