When did parenting become difficult for you?
Let’s be real for a second… Did anyone else picture parenting feeling a little more natural than this? Not saying it’s all bad—there are so many good, sweet, hilarious moments—but some days it just feels like: - You’re second guessing everything - You’re overstimulated before 10am - And somehow everyone needs you at the exact same time And then you wonder… am I doing this right? If that’s you, you’re not alone in this space 🤍 Let’s talk about it—👉 What part of parenting has felt harder than you expected lately?
Thankful Thursday
What about your current season—busy, slow, rebuilding, growing—are you thankful for right now?
“Good parenting”
Before kids, I thought good parenting meant: • Always being patient • Having a perfectly clean house • Cooking healthy meals every night • Kids who listened the first time After kids, I’ve learned good parenting sometimes looks like: • Apologizing when you lose your patience • Chicken nuggets for dinner • A messy house but lots of laughter • Teaching the same lesson 37 times And guess what? That’s okay. Sometimes the best parenting happens through the mistakes we make. Kids don’t need perfect parents. They need safe, loving, consistent ones. 💬 Let’s normalize real life. Drop one thing you thought parenting would be like… and what it’s actually like. 👇

Welcome!
💬 Let’s Get to Know Each Other I’m so glad you’re here—and I’d love to learn more about you. This community was created to be a supportive, judgment-free space for parents and families, and that starts with connection. Parenting can feel isolating at times, and my hope is that no one here feels like they’re doing it alone. If you’re comfortable, introduce yourself in the comments and share a few of the following (answer as many or as few as you’d like): 1️⃣ What’s your name (or what you’d like to be called)? 2️⃣ How many kids do you have and what ages are they? 3️⃣ What’s one thing you’re currently loving about parenting? 4️⃣ What’s one area you’d love more support, tools, or encouragement in right now? 5️⃣ Just for fun: coffee, tea, or both? ☕🍵 There are no right or wrong answers here—only real ones. Thank you for being brave enough to show up, whether you’re sharing today or just quietly reading for now. You belong here, exactly as you are 🤍 I’m really looking forward to getting to know each of you and walking alongside you in this parenting journey. — Kayla Oh! do you apologize to your kids ?
i curious, i think this is a powerful way to be real with your kids. show them how to be a good human by apologizing when you get it wrong. Do you think this is a problem? why or why not?
