Welcome!
💬 Let’s Get to Know Each Other I’m so glad you’re here—and I’d love to learn more about you. This community was created to be a supportive, judgment-free space for parents and families, and that starts with connection. Parenting can feel isolating at times, and my hope is that no one here feels like they’re doing it alone. If you’re comfortable, introduce yourself in the comments and share a few of the following (answer as many or as few as you’d like): 1️⃣ What’s your name (or what you’d like to be called)? 2️⃣ How many kids do you have and what ages are they? 3️⃣ What’s one thing you’re currently loving about parenting? 4️⃣ What’s one area you’d love more support, tools, or encouragement in right now? 5️⃣ Just for fun: coffee, tea, or both? ☕🍵 There are no right or wrong answers here—only real ones. Thank you for being brave enough to show up, whether you’re sharing today or just quietly reading for now. You belong here, exactly as you are 🤍 I’m really looking forward to getting to know each of you and walking alongside you in this parenting journey. — Kayla Oh! And don’t forget to turn your notifications on so that you can stay plugged in!
From school schedules 📕 to summer fun ☀️
The transition into summer can feel exciting… and surprisingly overwhelming at the same time. For many families, school provides structure, predictability, social interaction, routine, and even emotional regulation. When that suddenly changes, kids (and parents) can feel a little “off” before settling into a new normal. You might notice: - More boredom - More sibling conflict - Emotional ups and downs - Sleep schedule changes - Increased screen time battles - Kids seeming clingy, restless, or dysregulated This doesn’t mean you’re doing summer wrong. It just means transitions are hard for nervous systems. 💛 A few gentle reminders as you move into summer: ✨ Kids don’t need every second filled to have a good summer ✨ Routine doesn’t have to be rigid to be helpful ✨ Connection matters more than perfection ✨ Slowing down is healthy, even when it feels unfamiliar ✨ Some of the best childhood memories come from ordinary moments. Before jumping into “summer mode,” take a second to ask your family: ☀️ What do we want this summer to feel like? ☀️ What rhythms help everyone function best? ☀️ What memories do we hope to create together? You do not need to create a Pinterest-perfect summer to create a meaningful one. 🤍 What’s one thing your family is looking forward to this summer? ⬇️

When did parenting become difficult for you?
Let’s be real for a second… Did anyone else picture parenting feeling a little more natural than this? Not saying it’s all bad—there are so many good, sweet, hilarious moments—but some days it just feels like: - You’re second guessing everything - You’re overstimulated before 10am - And somehow everyone needs you at the exact same time And then you wonder… am I doing this right? If that’s you, you’re not alone in this space 🤍 Let’s talk about it—👉 What part of parenting has felt harder than you expected lately?
