How to Sell to Schools When You Hate Selling
You can run a tough data meeting with a room full of adults and never blink. But pitching your own work to a district? Your stomach drops. That makes sense. Nobody ever taught you how to sell. Selling to schools is a skill, and you can learn it. On Saturday, September 26, I'm showing you how to do it in a way that still sounds like you. No pushy scripts. No pretending to be somebody you're not.

Welcome to the K-12 School Contract Lab 👑
Welcome. You are exactly where you are supposed to be. If you are an educator who has always known you were built for more than the classroom could hold, take a breath. You just walked into your room. This is where talented educators stop waiting for permission and start landing real, paid contracts with schools, districts, and organizations. Not someday. This year. Under the 2026 rules that most people have not caught up to yet. Here is what I need you to know on day one. You already have the expertise. What you have been missing is the strategy, the positioning, and a room full of people who refuse to play small. That is exactly what lives here. So let's get you moving. Three steps, today: 1. Go to the Classroom tab and start with the Start Here lessons. That is your foundation. 2. Introduce yourself right here in the comments. Tell us your name, what you teach or lead, and the one contract you want to land this year. Say it out loud and claim it. 3. Open the Events tab. Your next move is already on the calendar. Take the Archetype Quiz: https://to.educatorsmovingon.com/knowyourarchetype You did not come this far to play small. Be bold. Be audacious. Carry yourself like the expert you already are. Let's get to work. Dr. Shenelle

Sales belief check
Honest answers today. No performing. Finish this sentence without trying to sound confident: "When I think about asking somebody to buy from me, I feel ________ because ________." We are not fixing it yet. We are naming what is actually there. For some of you it is fear of rejection. For some it feels pushy. For some it feels like bragging, and you were raised not to brag. For some it is simply not knowing what to say. All of those are different problems with different solutions, which is why "just be more confident" has never worked for anybody. Finish the sentence. These beliefs are exactly what we have to separate from the mechanics of having an actual sales process. You can have the best process in the world and still not use it.

Make somebody feel remembered
Five-star care is not expensive. Today's challenge: make one person feel remembered. A snack. A voice note. A coffee. A text right before a hard meeting. A resource you know they have been looking for. Notice how little it takes to deepen a relationship when you are actually paying attention. Now the business version of the same thing, because it is the same skill. What is one thoughtful touch you can make with a potential buyer this week without asking them for anything? Send the article. Congratulate the promotion. Remember the thing they mentioned in June. One personal touch. One buyer touch. Report back.
