Syrup day!!! Well as noted it’s more a liqueur that I use in recipes that call for cinnamon syrup.
I go 2:1 sugar to vodka and leave the sticks in the liqueur. Shake it every few hours until sugar (white) is dissolved (no heat). At time(2-3 days later) I need to add more vodka to fully dissolve the sugar. I tend to reuse the same sticks for a few batches/refills and add a fresh one.
Intense red cinnamon bark colour, thick mouthfeel and very bold/bright flavour (no alcohol taste)
