Aviation Berry
An original of mine.
The Aviation is a staple in our home. While looking at other liqueurs I saw the blueberry 🫐 liqueur and thought “hmm could this be an alternative to crème violet?” Only one way to find out.
The sip had the familiar Aviation profile, the liqueur changed the profile from floral to field berries. The tartness was still present, with the lemon 🍋 and blueberry 🫐 creating a delicious lemonade. Kinda reminiscent of a lemon blueberry muffin. 😋
Quite happy with the turnout. For those that have blueberry liqueur this might be a good one to try though could use a better name.
Aviation Berry
2 Oz (60ml) Gin
½ Oz (15ml) Maraschino Liqueur
¾ Oz (22.5ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
½ Oz (15ml) Blueberry Liqueur
