Top Tips:
I would suggest that you mask out the boat and houses and give it time to dry before starting.
Give yourself more space for the trees on the left
Give yourself a larger colour selection than originally suggested e,g, ultramarine , burnt umber to get the very dark tree areas.
Swap the yellow ochre for a cadmium yellow. Yellow ochre doesn't blend well.
Add a turquoise if you have one,
Mix your tree colours for the background a little softer, e.g. make them more blue/grey so they look further away.
