Journey to Gigs Academy is a community for musicians who want to turn their passion into real, paid performances and are serious about building a sustainable music career.
We focus on every aspect of building a full-time live performance career from business strategy, pricing, and booking gigs, to networking, practice systems, mindset, gear, and on-site performance logistics. The goal is simple: help musicians think and operate like professionals so they can perform consistently, get paid well, and build a sustainable living doing live music.
Led by guitarist Jeff Taylor, who is actively rebuilding and growing his performance business in a new city, the academy offers a transparent, real-time look at what’s working, what isn’t, and how informed decisions are made along the way. The focus isn’t perfection, it’s clarity, momentum, and professional growth.
