Welcome to S.E.E.K. (Society for Esoteric and Entheogenic Knowledge). S.E.E.K. exists to explore humanity’s enduring search for wisdom through the study of global spiritual history, mysticism, esotericism, philosophy, mythology, sacred symbolism, consciousness, and entheogenic traditions. Our approach is comparative and historical. We examine traditions across cultures and centuries, from ancient Egypt, Greece, India, Persia, and the Near East to Gnosticism, Neoplatonism, Hermeticism, Alchemy, Kabbalah, Sufism, Rosicrucianism, Freemasonry, modern psychedelic scholarship, indigenous shamanism, and contemporary studies of consciousness. The purpose is not to tell you what to believe. It is to investigate the ideas, practices, symbols, texts, plants, substances, and experiences that have shaped humanity’s understanding of the sacred. Here, curiosity should be disciplined by scholarship, experience should be examined critically, and seemingly separate traditions should be placed into meaningful comparative context.
