Why is Jesus's death significant in the sacrifice sense?
Many people say, Jesus sacrificed himself for you. But my first response would be: a lot of other people sacrificed themselves for others bravely in the face of unjustice.
It is true that he is God but then the remarkable thing is not the painful sacrifice itself but the character of God himself and the forgiveness towards humans.
Thoughts?
