Several prominent Christian leaders claim they were privately urged to prepare their congregations for upcoming government disclosures about UFOs and alleged non-human intelligence — revelations they believe could shake traditional religious beliefs.
Perry Stone recently stated that a select group of influential pastors attended a confidential meeting with individuals connected to U.S. intelligence circles. According to Stone, participants were warned that classified information concerning extraterrestrial phenomena, advanced spacecraft, and unexplained materials may soon become public.
In a video posted on April 27, Stone alleged that those at the meeting discussed reports involving “reptilian” beings, unidentified aerial phenomena, and materials believed to originate from non-human sources. He described the information as sounding “like something out of a sci-fi movie.”
The claims come amid growing public interest in UFO disclosure following statements from President Donald Trump, who reportedly ordered the Pentagon and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to release all available government records related to UFOs and alien life earlier this year.
Trump later suggested that the first wave of disclosures would arrive “very, very soon” and contain information the public would find “very interesting.”
Concerns Over Faith and Public Reaction
According to Stone, officials at the alleged meeting expressed concern that revelations about extraterrestrial life or civilizations beyond Earth could lead some believers to question the biblical account of creation.
Stone warned that some Christians may interpret the existence of other intelligent life in the universe as evidence that “the whole creation story is a myth,” potentially causing a crisis of faith among believers unprepared for such claims.
He also claimed that officials believed non-religious individuals could turn to churches seeking guidance once disclosures became public.
“They’re going to come to pastors, ministers, and teachers and ask, ‘What is this? Is this really real?” Stone said.
Other Religious Figures Confirm Participation
Among those reportedly involved in the meeting was Alan DiDio of Revival Nation Church, who later discussed the gathering during a livestream.
DiDio described conversations involving alleged government investigations into the retrieval and reverse engineering of technology tied to non-human intelligence. He also referenced what he called a broader “propaganda plan” connected to future disclosure efforts.
Evangelist and podcaster Tony Merkel also commented on the issue, claiming that certain Christians working within intelligence and defense communities are attempting to prepare churches for the societal impact of UFO disclosure.
Merkel stated that these individuals believe that disclosure efforts could eventually portray Christians as obstacles to humanity’s progress or to understanding the truth.
“The Great Deception”
The pastors connected the anticipated disclosures to biblical end-times prophecies, specifically referencing the concept of a “great deception.”
They argued that narratives surrounding extraterrestrials could be used to reinterpret or undermine traditional Christian teachings, encouraging believers to remain grounded in scripture regardless of future revelations.
According to the pastors, churches should begin preparing now so followers are not caught off guard if dramatic claims about alien life become mainstream.
Government Officials and Biblical Interpretations
Some public officials have also drawn connections between UFO phenomena and religious concepts.
Vice President JD Vance remarked earlier this year, “I don’t think they’re aliens. I think they’re demons,” while reaffirming his long-standing interest in UFO investigations.
Meanwhile, Representative Anna Paulina Luna has repeatedly encouraged the public to examine the ancient Book of Enoch, a non-canonical religious text describing supernatural beings known as Watchers descending to Earth.
Luna, who chairs a House Oversight panel focused on government transparency, has suggested that descriptions found in ancient religious writings resemble reports shared during classified UFO briefings.
In previous interviews, Luna stated that while she has never personally seen a spacecraft, she has reviewed evidence and images of aircraft she believes were not created by humanity.
She also argued that historical accounts resembling modern UFO reports may date back centuries — possibly even before the time of Christ.
