How Long Will Ownership Really Take? | JTO Mini-Lesson
All right, tribe. Picture your ownership timeline as a metre stick. Put your first “I think I want to own a business” at zero. Now mark the day you could actually take over. What has to happen between those two marks? You might be finding the right fit, getting answers from a seller or franchisor, and giving your advisors time to review the details. Then there’s the time it takes to get the business running the way you need it to. Those are two different stretches of the same stick. In this quick lesson, I’ll show you how to get a better estimate before you commit your time and money. Watch the video, then grab a piece of paper. Mark your decision date, your target takeover or opening date, and the point where you’d expect the business to cover its regular bills. Underline the date you’re least sure about. What’s the one question you could ask this week to put a better date on the stick? — Mitch

Wednesday Morning Tidbit | Every Quote Needs a Next Step
Morning, tribe. Quick one for Wednesday. Before you hit send on your next quote, ask: what happens after they read it? Try this: “I’ll send the quote this morning. You said you’ll review it tonight. Would Thursday afternoon work for a quick call to go over any questions?” Now you both know who’s doing what and when you’ll talk again. Your move today: pick one open quote or warm enquiry. What’s the next action, who owns it, and when is it due? — Mitch

Ready for Ownership — Unit 6: From Interest to a Sale
All right, tribe. When a potential customer says, “I’m interested,” what happens next? In Unit 5, we looked at who your customer is and why they might choose you. Now we’re building the process that helps them move from interest to a clear buying decision. In this session, we cover: • Choosing a useful first step: a booking, quote, consultation or purchase. • Asking four questions to understand what the customer needs. • Explaining what’s included, what it costs and how delivery works. • Inviting a decision and answering what remains unresolved. • Following up with a purpose and delivering the promise. Your starting framework: Enquiry → Conversation → Offer → Decision → Delivery and follow-up Clarity makes it easier for customers to understand the value and decide whether it’s right for them. Your assignment: My customer’s first step is ______. The questions I need to ask are ______. My offer needs to explain ______. I will ask for the decision by saying ______. My follow-up action is ______. Watch the video, then drop the next step you want your customer to take in the comments. Let’s make it easier for the right people to become your customers. — Mitch
