I grew up where Christianity was the label but there was no fruit. Multiple marriages. Trauma. Pain. I wanted nothing to do with it.
So I chased freedom on my own terms. Sin. Substance abuse. New Age. Crystals. Faith without power. And I was still empty.
Then a breakup broke me open. I walked into a church and a man shared his testimony and prayed for me. I just started crying.
