The Rise and Fall of King Saul
He was the King the people asked for, but not the leader they needed. Before he was a tyrant, he was a hero. Before he was the hunter of David, he was the chosen of God. Most people know King Saul as the villain in someone else’s story. We see the spear in his hand and the madness in his eyes, but we rarely look at the man hiding among the baggage, the reluctant giant who was given a kingdom but couldn’t find his own heart.
