Transcription Lab 9th April
Next Wednesday is the second of our monthly Transcription Labs.

What we do
We share a transcription that we’re working on.
By that I mean a solo you’ve learned by ear and can play along with the recording from memory. It could be a small section of the solo or even just a lick that challenged you or that you really loved.
The goal is to be able to play it from memory and to try and replicate the feel and timing as exact as you can.
It’s a really important part of learning jazz, and having something like this to aim for each month makes it much easier to stay focused and actually get something under your fingers.
