Jazz Vocalist Harvey Thompson Sings "My Funny Valentine"
February 4, 2026 (Tokyo, Japan) - Jazz vocalist Harvey Thompson sings "My Funny Valentine" with jazz pianist Hiroshi Tanaka and guitarist Masaki 'Mimi' Mizuguchi at Hiroshi Tanaka's private studio as we approach February 14th. We hope our growing community of jazz lovers will enjoy this dedication to "love." "My Funny Valentine" was composed by Rodgers and Hart for the 1937 musical Babes in Arms, transformed from a Broadway show tune into a beloved jazz standard recorded by hundreds of artists including Chet Baker, Miles Davis, and Billie Holiday and of course Harvey Thompson.
