Aretha Franklin Recognized Jazz Vocalist Singer Harvey Thompson's Talent
January 31, 2026 (Tokyo, Japan) - Here is a listing of some of jazz vocalist Harvey Thompson's recordings our community is welcome to listen to. Harvey's sings "Jazz Is Anything You Want It To Be" which was one of the songs he recorded in 1993 on his first CD release. There is a collection of some really great jazz singing here. Most people don't know this about Harvey Thompson, but Aretha Franklin once recognized Harvey's singing talent years ago back in Detroit after she heard him sing. We included an image of Harvey along with Aretha Franklin and her close friend Greg Dunmore taken in 2018.
