Hello JGA Group!

Hello Fellow JGA Members! My name is Art. I recently joined JGA (without the mentorship coaching). I'm looking forward to diving into the materials over the coming year and to our future conversations around jazz and improvisation.

Some of my favorite jazz albums featuring guitar that I listen to often are Jonathan Kreisberg's Wave Upon Wave, Kurt Rosenwinkel's Caipi, Pat Martino's East!, Freddie Hubbard's Straight Life (with George Benson), Miles Davis' In a Silent Way (with John McLaughlin), Russell Malone's Time for the Dancers, and Daniel Weiss' Dive. I also listen to Grasso, Hekselman, Lund, Frisell, Metheny, Montgomery, Green, Bernstein, Eunson, and others. I welcome any recommendations of albums by lesser known jazz guitarists.
