This week, we’ll focus on:
👉 Negative い-adjectives
We’ll practise describing things that are:
- not fun
- not tasty
- not interesting
- not good
And we’ll use them while chatting together and building confidence speaking.

🧠 Mini Lesson: Negative い-Adjectives
To make an い-adjective negative, change:
〜い → 〜くないです
Examples:
おいしい → おいしくないです
oishii → oishikunai desu
delicious → not delicious
たのしい → たのしくないです
tanoshii → tanoshikunai desu
fun → not fun
おもしろい → おもしろくないです
omoshiroi → omoshirokunai desu
interesting → not interesting
ながい → ながくないです
nagai → nagakunai desu
long → not long

この映画はおもしろくないです。
Kono eiga wa omoshirokunai desu.
This movie is not interesting.
この食べ物はおいしくないです。
Kono tabemono wa oishikunai desu.
This food is not tasty.
今日はさむくないです。

Today is not cold.
