Quick question for the aspiring IT project managers and career switchers in here: How are you managing your project deliverables, sprint plans, and portfolio tracking as you build up your hands-on experience?
Stepping out of high-stress roles into PM is an incredible move, but bouncing between messy spreadsheets, messaging apps, and phone notes to keep my learning projects organized was completely killing my momentum during study sessions. I recently started testing a workspace called Floment (floment.ai) to keep my project tracking, study notes, and AI research tools on a single screen so I can stop app-hopping. It's helped me stay focused on building a solid portfolio, but I'm curious how others structure this phase of their career. Before I go over-engineering some complex backend setup... what does your actual project tracking stack look like? Are you guys keeping tasks strictly inside standard spreadsheets, or using a simple, dedicated board to keep your builds moving smoothly?

How are you using AI for your job as a Project Manager
I‘m curious how you are leveraging AI for your day to day work? In the company I work we have Microsoft Copilot. I’ve some use cases here: - let the facilitator take meeting notes - Use the copilot to aggregate several meeting notes and give me the important task for the week - All writing stuff like management summaries, double check my emails, write out word documents - Doing research on certain topics, software comparisons, architecture proposals, etc. - I naturally hate Excel so it’s pretty good for doing formulas, giving me overview of percentages and making a diagram Which AI are you using for which use cases in your day to day?
