I GOT ON NEW MUSIC FRIDAY UK!!!😭😭😭 MY FIRST EVER EDITORIAL PLAYLIST
MY ARTIST AVENGERS BOY DO I HAVE A STORY FOR YOU!!!It's 1am and I'm about to go to bed. I check my texts. I see my friend has screenshotted my song on what I thought was their playlist. I say thank you as I thought they were just being super supportive.
THEN I looked closer at the top of the screenshot and see "New Music Friday UK" I'm like FUCK OFF they must have just called their playlist that (o jump outta bed check Spotify and scroll as fucking fast as I can to see “COMPOSURE” IS THERE!!!!
INSANE. I only submitted it two weeks ago on a whim and almost forgot to do so. Guys I can't begin to tell you how happy I am. Idgaf about the streaming side of it, it's just the acknowledgement from Spotify and certification that they actually HEAR the submissions that indie artists make.
