I've set myself the goal of hitting 100k by the end of the year with my band, and since joining Artists Academy, I've already grown by 20k.
I think this growth has come not just from effective marketing, but also from staying consistent. Just like with social media, where everyone talks about posting regularly, I’ve applied the same idea to Spotify and other DSPs. The plan is to have a track for every six weeks for the next two years.
Doing this has been a huge relief. I’m now planning ahead rather than scrambling to get things done last minute, which is way less stressful. It also gives me the chance to step back, listen with fresh ears, and really assess the quality of what I’m putting out.
It’s been hard work, but it doesn’t feel like work because I love it. I love making music and creating memories with my mates.
