This week, I hit a massive milestone by organising the biggest show I’ve ever been a part of. It was a wild ride—performing in both the support act and the main show while managing everything behind the scenes. But here’s the truth: I couldn’t have done it alone.
From van breakdowns that kept us waiting until 5am in the freezing cold for recovery to the chaos of last-minute decisions, this show threw everything it could at us. We were all exhausted, stressed, and overwhelmed at times. To be honest at one point I broke down and cried under the stress. Mistakes were made, and tempers could have flared, but instead, we did something incredible—we supported each other.
We worked through each other’s flaws, picked up the slack when someone needed help, and reminded each other why we were there in the first place. We laughed, cried, and kept pushing forward as a team. This wasn’t just about putting on a show; it was about leaning on the people you trust most to make something beautiful happen, even in the face of chaos.
What I love most about this team—this family—is that our love for each other is bigger than the mistakes, the stress, or the pressure. When one of us fell, someone else was there to lift them up. That’s what made this show possible.
To anyone chasing big dreams, here’s my advice: find your team. Find the people who will stick with you when things go wrong, who will celebrate the wins just as much as they’ll work through the losses. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about what you achieve—it’s about who you achieve it with.
Here’s to my team, my family, and the love that held it all together.
