There are days that test you beyond anything you imagined—physically, mentally, emotionally. For me, one of the hardest moments was day 80 of the Conquer 100.
Everything in me wanted to quit. My body was failing; my mind was screaming to stop, and I questioned whether I could keep going. But at that moment, I had a choice—give in or take one more step. I knew I just had to try, that I could be perfect for one second at a time (one step).
So, I focused on the next second. Not the full distance, not the overwhelming challenge ahead—just one second. Then another. And another. One second at a time, I got through it. It seems ridiculous, but no one can convince me otherwise. Even in your darkest moments, you can be perfect for one second.
What about you? Have you ever had a moment where you wanted to quit? What did you do? Drop your story in the comments.
