Fruit Vs. Fiction
🍇 Fruit vs. Fiction: Welcome to Iron Disciples Men, welcome. This is the place to bring what you see in the world — media, politics, school systems, entertainment, business, even the church — and lay it on the table. Together, we’ll ask: 👉 Is this true fruit (rooted in Christ, producing life)? 👉 Or is it fiction (cultural performance, empty words, false promises)? Our foundation is the Word of God. Jesus said in Matthew 7:16: “You will know them by their fruits.” And as Proverbs 27:17 reminds us: “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Here, we sharpen each other by holding up what we see against biblical truth — not opinions, not hype, not what’s trending. How to Use This Space - Post things you notice (from news, social media, daily life). - Share why you think it’s fruit or fiction. - Let your brothers test it, refine it, and sharpen you with Scripture. This is where disciples grow into warriors of truth. ⚔️

⚔️ Iron Disciples Begins Here
This is a brotherhood of men choosing obedience, stewardship, and impact. We sharpen one another in Christ and reject the world’s call to glorify self. We live to hear one thing: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Answer the call: 1️⃣ Introduce yourself (name + where you’re from) 2️⃣ Share what you’re building or battling 3️⃣ Drop one way you want to be sharpened “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17

No matter the Sin. Jesus Saves 🙌
Jesus told a story: a lender had two debtors. One owed 500 silver coins, the other 50. Neither could pay. So the lender forgave them both. Then He asked, “Which one will love him more?” The answer was clear: the one forgiven of more. No matter the sin, do not hide from Christ. He loves you as much as those who sin little. You are special to Him, and His blood washes away all that you have done. The world may make you hide in shame because of your wrongdoing. You may think you will never be forgiven. But that is not how God works. Do you have someone doing wrong to you? Is it hard to forgive? Know this: it is impossible on your own. You need the Holy Spirit to be capable. Forgive others as you have been forgiven. And remember — no matter the sin, we all fall short of His glory.

Stewardship or Self-Worship?
Paul wrote: “I appeal to you… to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” (Romans 12:1) This verse doesn’t mean you need to have the body of a champion or look like a bodybuilder. Paul wasn’t talking about image. He was talking about surrender. 🛑 Self-Worship (Idolatry) - Training to be admired. - Staring at the mirror for validation. - Building your body but ignoring your soul. - Measuring worth by comparison. ✅ Stewardship (Worship) - Training for strength to serve your family, mission, and God. - Honoring the temple of the Holy Spirit. - Using discipline in the gym to fuel discipline in life. - Offering your energy back to God daily. Paul’s call was simple: don’t crawl off the altar. Be a living sacrifice. Use your body — whatever condition it’s in — not for vanity, but for obedience. 💡 Reflection for the week: Am I using my body to glorify myself, or to glorify God?

A World Restored by Men’s Fruit
“You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.” — Matthew 7:16–20 It’s the litmus test Jesus gave us: don’t just listen to words, look at outcomes. - What kind of fruit does a man’s life produce? - Does it point people to Christ or to himself? - Does it multiply life or spread corruption? A reminder we are here for fruit. Fruit = Impact Drop in the comments: what fruit do you see God growing in your life right now? And where do you need pruning?
