Hello,

I am currently paper trading live during the New York session and noticed a significant lag when placing orders. After submitting a trade, it takes about 10 to 15 seconds for the order to appear, which delays my ability to adjust the take profit and stop loss levels.

I am on the Essential annual plan. I understand that paper trading market data is delayed by 10 minutes, and my plan is to purchase CME Group data once I begin live trading. However, I am wondering if this delay in order placement could be related to the delayed data, and whether it would make sense to purchase the CME data now.

I wanted to check if anyone else has experienced this issue or noticed similar lag while paper trading.
