Lessons Learned the hard way

I started my trading journey this year knowing that my career, although extremely rewarding for the benefits of mankind, is extremely draining and consumes all of my time and energy. In June of this year I stumbled upon Kyle’s Skool classes. I was able to go from knowing some dangerous information about trading to having a plan, and executing to it! Earlier this month with great pride and grit I passed my first evaluation. In my excitement I forgot to switch off the passed eval account on the 6th day of trading, accidentally blew my passed account while attempting to pass another that I had obtained on sale. I was frustrated, I felt doubtful that I could do this for a living, I began to break the great patterns I had fought to develop. I stopped waking up early to plan my trading day, I rushed into trades outside of my plan, and worst of all stopped journaling my trades. So when you feel discouraged know that mistakes will happen, shake them off!! I took a week off to clear my head, realized what I did before was not by chance and that I could do it again. I’m happy to report that I am back in my routine, sticking to plan and patiently gaining some momentum towards my funded account. Stick with it, know that losses will happen but it’s part of the plan, keep going!!! Stoked for next weeks workshop, I’ll see you there!!
