Are funded accounts a scam?

Hi everyone.

I’m pretty new here and was excited to learn about the option of using funded accounts to accelerate my journey. I was trying to learn more about funded accounts and ran into multiple videos out there that claim that many of them are a scam (making money from people failing the evaluation process, putting random restrictions and cancelling people’s accounts when they are truly successful so they won’t have to pay, etc.).

Wanted to check with the community here what is everyone’s experience and if some of you were able to really make steady and substantial income from funded accounts without running into any of these issues (or if anyone did have any bad experience). Thank you!
