Who Supports the People Helping Others?
If you're like me in this intuitive profession, there are times when you question yourself. You finish a reading and later wonder: "Did I do okay?""Did I help?""Did I say too much?""Did I say too little?""Did I make things better...or worse?" Then there are the other things we don't always talk about: Burnout.Boundaries.Pricing and fee structures. The emotional weight we carry after sitting with people in some of their most difficult moments. Who do we talk to about our work? Our readings are — or should be — confidential. But sometimes I simply need to talk to someone who understands the gifts, responsibilities, and emotional impact that come with doing this work. For most of us, that person isn't our family. It isn't always our friends. Many people care about us, but they don't truly understand what this work can feel like. After more than 20 years in this field, I realized I could find classes, development circles, and business groups... but finding genuine support was much harder. That's why I created The Intuitive Support Collective. A place for real conversations. A place for intuitive professionals and developing intuitives to support one another. No proving gifts. No competition. No judgment. Just people who understand. I'd love to hear from you: What is one challenge you've faced in your intuitive journey that you don't think people outside of this work understand?
