What's one small win from this week?
For me it was my son showing kindness and thoughtfulness.
We were in the kitchen together before school.
I added a couple of slices of left over pizza to his lunch box and he asked if he could have an extra peice to give to his friend.
I said of "of course you can, that's very kind of you. Is there a particular reason as to why?"
He replied "Because he made a deal with another kid the other day, that he would swap a chocolate bar for a slice of pizza. The other kid took the chocolate bar but never gave the pizza in return, so he got scammed!
And to make it worse, the teachers wouldn't do anything about it. So i'd like to."
I was so proud of him in that moment🥰
