Markdown Formatting "Trick"

I often use markdown, or at least tell my AI tool of preference to format text in Markdown.

This is a really neat little "hack" I learned about today:

Here's an example:

Hello, I'm Bob McBobface. I worked at [Apple][1] for five years, before

being hired at [Microsoft][2] as a developer on [Visual Studio Code][3].

I also worked at [Red Hat][4], [IBM][5], and the [Fortnite][6] team at

[Epic Games][7].

You can also use words rather than numbers:
