Art Jam @ Golden Rooster’s Underground. Fri, Aug 29. $Free, creative, underground. We’re getting together in Golden Rooster’s underground and creating a cozy space for a chill night of art and connection. No pressure, no big production. It's just a bunch of creatives hanging out, making stuff, and sharing what we’ve been working on. I’ll have some art supplies, but you should totally bring your own if you want. Paints, sketchbooks, embroidery, whatever you’re into. Show and Tell! I finally broke through some artist block and made a new drawing. Honestly? It felt so good just to put something on paper again. Artist block hits all of us. Sometimes it feels like you’ve lost your spark, sometimes you just don’t want to make anything, and sometimes life just gets in the way. But picking up the pen/brush/whatever again, even if it’s messy or weird, is kind of magic. ✨ I’m curious How do you work past artist block? Do you doodle random stuff, switch mediums, take a break, or just push through until something clicks? Share your tricks with me! I’d love to know how you all climb out of the rut when it shows up. And that’s why I love this community! We get to be real about the stuck moments and celebrate when the spark comes back.
