It was a pleasure to attend the opening of the ITSLIQUID Group 18th Edition of the London Contemporary Art Fair at ELEMENTS Contemporary Art Space in Hoxton, London, N1 5LG, where my painting 'Anchored at The London Eye was exhibited'. Sunset Walk – Red Fort Medium: Acrylic on Canvas Board Size: 51 × 61 cm Year: 2023 Original, one-of-a-kind artwork Signed by the artist Part of the Indian Heritage Collection Below I have shared a short painting process video, my experience photo at the Red Fort, and the finished artwork. What do you notice first in this painting — the architecture, the colour of the sky, or the two figures walking by the fort? This artwork is an original creation by MINA, Wilhelmina Quaynor, and includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Sunset Walk – Red Fort captures the grandeur of the Red Fort at dusk. In this atmospheric work, MINA portrays two figures walking along the vast red sandstone walls of one of India’s most iconic Mughal monuments, as the sky glows with golden and turquoise hues of a Delhi evening. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century, the Red Fort remains a powerful symbol of India’s Mughal heritage and independence. This painting reflects both its architectural magnificence and the quiet human moments that unfold in its shadow. For me, this work is also about memory, travel, and the feeling of standing before a place where history still feels alive.
