Day 2—Failure
I had intense cravings and binge ate. I also almost masturbated to porn, but I didn’t.
Here’s a detailed list of what I ate:
  • Orange juice,
  • granulated sugar.
  • brown sugar,
  • an apple and peanut butter,
  • honey,
  • strawberry ice cream,
  • trail mix with added sugar,
  • salted caramel chocolate
I’m living with my parents, and they have easier access to unhealthy foods. This isn’t an excuse, but a new problem that I have to solve. It’s actually a good thing, because this environment is more similar to other environments; most places have some unhealthy foods around.
Key takeaways:
  • If I start feeling intense cravings, leave. Go for a long walk—ideally until you have to sleep. Stop everything you’re doing and remove yourself from an environment where it’s easy to binge.
  • If I start feeling intense cravings, lock your devices. I use a lockbox for my phone and computer. I usually binge eat while watching YouTube—I don’t typically do one by itself. So, locking my devices will make me less likely to binge eat.
I also went on YouTube this morning for about 15 minutes. So, I’m adding 4 days to my goal (98 days).
