The name of the movie is gowok kamasutra jawa, this movie explains about one of the professions of women in past times. where the profession of 'gowok' is assigned to teach men to know women's bodies, especially when having sex. this is carried out later on the first night, men can satisfy their wives. people who can use this service are only nobles, priyayi, and aristocrats. yes I know this is taboo in Indonesia, but what's wrong with learning from all aspects?? *hope the bule comments somethin, this community so barren

The Dark Truth of Indonesia is Being Erased | a cry for help.
This is proof that history is being written by the victor—with the blood of the defeated. And Indonesia today? The people have lost our voice to the manipulation of our so-called democracy. One of the most recent urgent concerns, among many unresolved human rights cases, is this: the current government is literally re-writing our history. President Prabowo Subianto’s administration is preparing a 10-volume national history series, set to be released on Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day in 2025. The Culture Ministry claims it’s a “nation-building” effort to strengthen identity. But many fear it’s a dangerous act of revisionism. Critics warn this project may sanitize Indonesia’s darkest chapters—especially those involving military abuses and authoritarian rule—and erase the voices of the victims. Watch here: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZShEHRXwW/ The histories they are trying to erase -- What happened in 1995 & 1998: 🩸 1965–66: Anti-Communist Massacres After a failed coup blamed on the PKI, the military launched a purge: over 500,000 people were killed—communists, ethnic Chinese, leftists. General Suharto seized power through this violence, launching the New Order regime. Declassified CIA and UK documents show foreign complicity. Victims were never fully acknowledged. No justice. 🔥 1998: Reformasi & the Fall of Suharto Triggered by economic collapse, protests erupted. On May 12, four students were killed by military forces at Trisakti. Jakarta exploded in riots—Chinese communities were targeted. Elite troops under Prabowo kidnapped and tortured pro-democracy activists. Suharto stepped down. Reformasi began. But many victims remain missing. 🔇 Today: The Silencing Continues Indonesia’s democratic space is shrinking. Activists, students, and artists face increasing repression: - ITB Student Arrested – Detained in May 2025 for posting an AI meme of Jokowi and Prabowo kissing. Political satire met with police action. - Haris Azhar & Fatia Maulidiyanti – Tried for exposing military-business collusion in Papua. - West Papua Activists – Peaceful protests met with arrests, surveillance, intimidation.
