I just launched a new course in the Classroom: https://www.skool.com/indiemakers/classroom/c8446437?md=0ff6e0c095b9434f9d84727497e30dd5 It's a step-by-step guide to launching a cold email campaign to get users and validate your B2B startup idea. Can't wait for your feedback!
Sending volume is important, but if you're sending too much you can't be relevant. Spamming people randomly never works. The game of cold outreach is to send (at scale) the right message to the right people.
I would love to target people from certain Facebook Groups but it seems like this is not supported by FB. All the suggested solutions I found require posting as a Facebook Page for re-targeting - but that's inauthentic as it can be for a group. And probably not well received. Has anyone had success in this direction?
Getting the first users on a project is probably one of the hardest steps. Even more if you don't have any audience. What worked for me so far: - Sharing my product on big communities - Reddit, PH, and IndieHackers (RIP 😅) - Sending cold emails to my ICP - Sponsoring Newsletter in my niche - Sharing on X as I have a great audience there. What about you? What are your best acquisition channels ?
