The value of persistence for every author
A little encouragement for the author who feels behind today:
Persistence does not mean you never get tired, distracted, discouraged, busy, overwhelmed, or knocked off rhythm.
Persistence means you keep coming back to what matters.
You open the manuscript after a hard week. You revisit the idea after doubting it. You tackle the chapter you’ve been avoiding. You pick up the project again after life reminds you that writing is rarely done in perfect conditions.
Most books are not finished because the author felt inspired every day.
They are finished because the author refused to quit.
So if you have been quiet, stuck, inconsistent, or unsure lately, don’t make that mean you’ve failed.
Take one small step forward.
What is one thing you can do for your book this week?
